The Sherline Manual 18-Inch NexGen Benchtop Mill (Inch) (EU) represents the pinnacle of compact milling technology, designed to meet the demands of industrial, laboratory, and educational settings. This advanced milling machine is engineered to accommodate larger parts, featuring an extended mill base, a longer crosslide table, and an elongated mill column, surpassing the capabilities of previous models. The enhanced column base provides additional rigidity, ensuring stability during heavy cutting operations. The column's design allows for rotation of 90 degrees to the left and right, while maintaining in/out adjustments, offering seven directions of movement including X, Y, Z, and headstock rotation.

This benchtop mill is ideal for producing small, precision parts with high accuracy. Despite its compact size, it is capable of cutting a variety of materials including wood, plastic, aluminum, and steel, delivering full-size machine precision. The machine is powered by a robust 90V DC motor with an electronic speed controller, ensuring consistent performance across a range of applications. The mill's design includes a protective Y-axis leadscrew, an extended mill table with T-slots, and a tooling plate, all contributing to its versatility and precision.

The NexGen mill is equipped with resettable, zero adjustable handwheels on the X, Y, and Z axes, facilitating precise control over milling operations. Additional features include a drill chuck with a Morse arbor, oil reservoirs for smooth operation, and a comprehensive set of tools and accessories to support various milling tasks. The electronically controlled spindle speed ranges from 70 to 2800 RPM, providing flexibility for different materials and cutting requirements.

Note: Ensure proper safety measures are followed during operation to prevent accidents or injuries.
