This extra space is particularly beneficial when working with larger parts, as it accommodates a chuck and a larger tailstock chuck with a long drill bit, providing ample room for various machining tasks.

This lathe is equipped with zero adjustable handwheels and a rocker toolpost, enhancing its value and functionality. It can turn parts up to 3.5 inches in diameter over the bed or up to 1.88 inches over the carriage without the need for riser blocks. With an optional riser block, the lathe can handle parts up to 6 inches in diameter over the bed. The electronic speed control allows for continuously variable speed adjustments ranging from 70 to 2,800 RPM, eliminating the need for belt changes. Additionally, a second pulley position is available to provide extra torque at lower RPMs when necessary.
