It features a planetary gearbox that significantly enhances its torque capabilities, providing 48 kg·cm of torque at low speeds. The motor's step angle is refined to approximately 0.035° after the gearbox, allowing for precise control in applications requiring fine adjustments. This motor is equipped with a rear shaft, enabling the attachment of an encoder or shaft coupler for enhanced functionality.
The motor operates at a current rating of 1.68A and is capable of producing a maximum torque of 180 kg-cm. However, it is important to note that the gearbox is rated for continuous torque of 48 kg-cm, and exceeding this limit may reduce the motor's lifespan. The motor is designed to be used with a constant current or chopper drive controller, such as a Phidget stepper controller, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
