The BitZero V2 for Shapeoko is an advanced tool designed to precisely determine the X, Y, and Z zero points of your machining projects. This updated version of the original BitZero offers significant enhancements, including a lower profile that facilitates probing of taller projects. It features a magnetic ground connection, replacing the traditional alligator clip, which simplifies the setup process.

The BitZero V2 employs a bore for probing in the X and Y directions, ensuring that the tool diameter does not affect the accuracy of the measurements. Its plastic base provides insulation from the workpiece, enabling the probing of conductive materials without interference. Additionally, the inclusion of a 1/4" reference pin helps eliminate inaccuracies caused by tool flutes, ensuring precise measurements.

This device continues to utilize an active probing design, which enhances the reliability of the probing process and ensures rapid triggering to protect the tools. The BitZero V2 is compatible with all Shapeoko machines, provided that Carbide Motion 5.14 or higher is used.
